Criminal, environmental and human rights lawyer.
I have over 20 years’ experience as a consultant and trial lawyer in all sorts of criminal cases, acting from the investigation phase all the way to the upper courts.
I'm also experienced at dealing with sensitive investigations involving the handling of issues of high complexity at cases that expand beyond national borders.
For over 20 years, I have been assisting human rights and environmental organisations with general legal counselling, training, capacity building, legal risk assessments, compliance and security strategies, and carrying out defences and accusations in enquiries and proceedings.
In collaboration with other lawyers, I have spearheaded a number of cutting-edge legal actions to protect the environment, climate and human rights before Brazilian and international courts.
I advise on national ecocide laws.
